Outline of Training Course:
This one day non-technical training course will provide a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of wind energy. Anyone wanting to gain an overview understanding of the wind energy industry will benefit and topics to be covered include an overview of the wind industry, planning issues, grid connection and a view to the future.
Who Should Attend?
Whether participants are new to the industry or just want to refresh and update their knowledge, this comprehensive one day training course will ensure they are up-to-speed with the key aspects of wind energy. It is ideal for those new to the industry, or in related sectors such as finance, law, regulation, construction, contractors, etc.
Outline Objectives:
This Course is aimed at those with no or minimal previous training or experience in the wind energy sec-tor. It will provide a high level overview of the industry and give participants an appreciation of the main technical, economic and planning considerations in wind energy. After the course participants will understand the fundamentals of wind power development and have an insight into some of the main challenges and opportunities facing the sector over the next decade.
