Outline of Training Course: Managing the effective operation and maintenance of a wind farm site requires a unique combination of skills and abilities. This course will explore the main issues surrounding operational wind farms and suggest ways to understand and improve site performance leading to higher availability.
Who Should Attend: In this course we highlight the importance of using the latest technology in get-ting the design and analysis phase of a wind development right before consent and construction take place. We also examine how independent analysis of the site SCADA data reviewed against met information can help the owner under-stand the full context of his sites performance. We utilise case studies of under-performing sites and discuss the best way to understand and improve upon that performance. Finally we consider the very important issue of health and safety in wind farm operations touching on case studies of incidents from around the world.
